Back-2-School Initiative: All-In-Classroom Campaign.

Education is a fundamental right, yet it remains an unattainable dream for many children in Malawi. Primary school dropout rates remain alarmingly high, with poverty, family responsibilities, and inconsistent support systems acting as major barriers to sustained learning. According to the Ministry of Education’s Department of Basic Education, many children—particularly those from child-headed homes—struggle to balance school with the responsibility of fending for their families. Additionally, the inability to afford essential school supplies like uniforms, bags, and stationery forces many promising students out of the classroom.

Recognising these challenges, the Grown Too Quick Foundation launched the Back-2-School Initiative: All-In-Classroom 2024 Campaign. This initiative not only provides crucial educational materials but also equips young learners with mentorship and career guidance to help them navigate their academic journey.

As part of this year’s campaign, the top 20 students in the senior primary class at Namaona Primary School were awarded school bags and stationery—small but significant tools that can make a lasting impact on their education. By supporting high-achieving students in need, GTQF reinforces its commitment to ensuring that no child is left behind due to financial or material constraints.

Education has the power to break the cycle of poverty, unlock opportunities, and shape a brighter future. GTQF remains dedicated to fostering inclusive education and empowering young minds to reach their full potential.
